As one of the MUANA board members, on 1st February, I attended the Board of Trustees meeting for the Malawi Union of Academic and Non-Fiction Authors (MUANA). It was an excellent opportunity to engage with the MUANA executive team about their exciting and groundbreaking activities in 2024 and their plans for moving the organization forward in 2025.
MUANA, under the mandate of COSOMA, serves as an umbrella organization dedicated to promoting the literary works of non-fiction and academic authors. It also provides support in the areas of research and publication.
It was inspiring to discuss the significant achievements of 2024 and to hear about the visionary plans for 2025. Kudos to MUANA! 2025 is going to be a great year! I wish MUANA all the best for the future.
