We end the year on a high note! Today, the Malawi University of Science and Technology signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Kweza Arts, marking the beginning of a powerful partnership to elevate the creative and cultural industries. Together, we'll launch initiatives like short courses, joint research and projects, and provide Work Integrated Learning opportunities for our students.
This aligns perfectly with Malawi2063, the ATM (Agriculture, Tourism and Mining) strategy, and Solution MUST 2030. MUST and Kweza share core values, and we are proud to be the only university in Malawi with a value woven into our principles – Umunthu, which is rooted in an African language. I admire Kweza's values of Umodzi, Pamodzi, Limodzi. It’s no surprise these two institutions are a perfect match. Big things are coming from our collaboration with Kweza Arts – keep an eye on this space. Remember, MUST is a must.
