Mother’s Day Eve in Malawi (October 14, 2024) was truly unforgettable. I had the honor of being a speaker at a spectacular dinner and dance hosted by Zomba Women.
? My talk, titled Self Advancement: A Toolkit for Women in the 21st Century, was all about empowering the incredible women in the room. I covered topics like the importance of having a vision and setting goals, upskilling and reskilling (focusing on new and emerging technologies), building a personal brand, and mastering time management.
It was such a joy to share my personal insights—both from my own journey and by learning from others. A big thank you to Mrs. Timaleni Bizwick for recommending me as a speaker for this amazing event. Mrs. Tapiwa Ngwira also spoke, sharing her expertise on entrepreneurship.
The evening was not just about fun, but also about learning and growth. I loved that the event organizers were so focused on empowering us with knowledge on topics that are essential for women today.
