Women's Tea and Talk; The Power of Internationality

It was an absolute honor to give a talk at the Women’s Tea and Talk event held on Easter Monday, 21st April 2025, at the beautiful T n D Conference Centre in Zomba. The event was hosted by none other than Prof. Dorothy Nampota, CEO of the Malawi National Examinations Board and owner of the venue.

My talk focused on a topic very close to my heart “The Power of Intentionality” a theme I have been speaking about extensively in my recent public engagements. As women juggling multiple roles in our families, careers, faith, and communities, I emphasized the need to be intentional about how we navigate each of these spaces. It is not enough to simply have a vision. The real impact comes when we combine that vision with a clear, actionable plan.

One key area I highlighted was time management,  a topic I am  often asked about. (I promise to share more about this in a dedicated post soon) Managing our time intentionally allows us to create space for growth,  rest, our goals  and for the people who matter.I truly enjoyed every moment spent with the amazing women who attended. The event was filled with warmth, laughter, and wisdom. I was especially inspired by the powerful insights shared by Dr. Mathero Nkhalamba, Mrs. Memory Manjombe, and of course, Prof. Dorothy Nampota herself.

To Prof. Nampota; thank you for the invitation and for creating such a beautiful space for women to gather, reflect, and grow.

As we move forward in the week, I will leave you with one question:

What have you been intentional about this week?
